This image was taken in the Galloway Dark Sky site in Scotland. It is one frame from a time lapse shoot. Unfortunately the sky was plagued with passing cloud and there were very few moments like this. The sky really is amazing in such a dark corner of the globe. My return home to a light polluted Wiltshire garden took some getting used to.
