Deep sky imaging is a painstaking process. The harmony of disparate equipment is a struggle, but when it all works, the satisfaction is immense. The beauty of our universe never ceases to amaze me as each new image begins to emerge. Please enjoy the images presented below.
All the information given with each image is the result of a collaboration with Jonathan Genton of Marlborough College. Jonathan first enlisted two students from Pate's Grammar School in Cheltenham to help produce information panels for our first exhibition. Since then we have enjoyed the help of selected Marlborough College students studying Astronomy GCSE. The information for each target is credited to the appropriate Research Assistant. My thanks go to the team for their invaluable help.
